Hello to everybody!

We hope that you are keeping yourselves and your families safe during this very difficult and uncertain time. We want to ensure that your children keep learning from home as much as they can whilst the school is closed, but we appreciate this may be difficult for some families .

We are providing live lessons through zoom for your child to engage with. They will then have time to complete the work with you, during the second part of the lesson.

Miss Cameron or Mrs Carter will have emailed you the zoom links. If you need any help with this, please email the school office.  The timetable for online lessons is below.

READING BOOKS!

Do you want your child to read reading books at home, like the reading books we send home from school?

I have found a website called Oxford Owl, where they can read books that match the reading level they are on at school.

There are step by step instructions below to help you find the books your child needs and register with the website.

Interactive Learning

All children have their DB Primary  and TTRockstars passwords so they can access these websites at home. Educational activities will be set on DB Primary for your children to complete.  Here are the links to both websites.

Please practise timestables on TT rockstars each day in the holiday.

Story - Time

When you have finished your home learning for the day, you may want to enjoy a story. If you click on this link - Audible Stories you can choose a story to listen to. The sections 'Littlest Listeners' or 'Folk and Fairy Tales for All' will be the most suitable ones for you. There are lots of different stories to choose from. You could listen to a different one each day. 'The House at Poo Corner' and 'Cinderella' are our favourites.

If you like David Walliams stories. You can listen to some of them online for free, for 30 days. There is a different one for you to listen to, each day. The link to the website is here - David Walliams stories

We know how much you enjoy listening to stories in class, so we hope you enjoy some while you're at home too.
